I'm so sorry it has taken me a few days to get another post written, the days are flying by so fast. Yesterday Gary's trip to Weifang went well. He was able to deliver the goods to the orphanage director from the money our kids Sunday School class raised and our kids went and bought. They got lots of clothes, baby soap, some candy and some toys. When Gary got back he was telling us that it is mainly one family who runs the orphanage of 300 kids. Wow! While Gary was gone the kids and I went to a park very close to our hotel and found a quiet corner (which is not easy) and blew bubbles.......... Today we went back to the park with Gary and saw a fountain show then went to Mc Donald's for french fries. We also walked along a canal that runs through the middle of the city. We now have all of the things we needed to get done here, so we are just killing time as a family before we leave on Friday. Gavin is doing so well and is very easy going. The boy is a chatter box, only we have no idea what he is saying. He also has one song he likes to sing over and over again. I would love to know what the song is saying, but we are going to try to video it soon. He eats everything, he is sleeping through the night and the boy is potty trained well. The family thinks he is a total mama's boy, but I think he does fine with Gary too. Avery is his favorite of the kids, but he copies everything Levi does. He likes to tickle LuLu every once in a while when she is watching T.V. (she found a channel in English) We have also been surprised that when other Chinese people come up to Gavin to talk to him he makes it clear to them that we are his parents by running to us and wrapping his arms around our neck. Once tonight some guys came up to him and he turned to Gary and gave him a big kiss and would not respond to the men. He is much more playful in our hotel room and sticks very close when we are out. When we are out we are still getting many, many stares and the kids were asked again tonight if they could have their picture taken with other people. We have also had a few people come up and watch us eat right next to our table~awkward! But what do you do? Well any way things are going well and we just pray it will continue, but we also know that Gavin could hit a wall with us and get really frustrated one of these days. I don't know if I will get in another post before leaving Jinan so until then, Blessings, Marla |

LOVE IT!!!!! He looks like he's doing fabulous...lovin' all the love and attention from his siblings. Are you in Heaven or what?!
So cool how God just gently kneads the knots of his little heart so that he molded right into your family.
He is just adorable!!
Congratulations!!
Again, I throughly enjoyed looking at the pictures. It felt like you 6 had been a family forever, as I was able to see Gavin's interaction with his new brother and sisters. I phoned Ang. & bethany as soon as I saw the blog, and called monte later when I thought he would be home and able to pull it up. We all LOVE hearing from you guys, and see all the great pictures. It helps us feel like such a part of his joining our bigger family.
