Our Pre-Approval came in!

What happened to August? Is there anyone else who feels like the months are getting shorter and shorter with each one that passes? Avery was adding up the weeks left until school starts and it's less then three! Are you kidding me? We have had an unbelievable summer and I'm just not ready for it to end, though I think God is trying to help me get there with the change in the weather we have had lately.
We did just get back from taking the kids away for a week in a half. We had so much fun laughing and talking, swimming and playing card games. Gary and I are so blessed to have some of the most amazing kids on the planet. I know there are a few more out there, we are just lucky enough to have three of them. We also got word from our agency while we were gone that the Chinese government also put our names on another incredible kid. We got our PA! This is a big step for us, we are being recognized as the prospective parents to Gavin J******g T*****y. We are also now to the point where we can send him packages and request info. like current measurements and recent milestones he has been making. This is a big goal of mine as I have been wanting to send him something for his birthday in October. I am already struggling with the thought of not being with him when he turns three, but at least he can get something from us now and begin to know who we are. Levi has also requested that we get going on their bedroom and get it set up for Gavin to move in. The beds have been ordered and he has picked out bedspreads to match. This will make it feel very real to have a space all ready for my little boy to come home to.
I am asking for prayer with our dossier. It was suppose to be sent off weeks ago, but there is one more piece of paper stuck in San Francisco and my agency is not sure what the hold up is. I am getting frusterated as I am starting to see the time line slipping away from us. I appreciate all the support we have received so far and know there are so many people who are excited along with us to see our son in our arms.

Wow, that is SOOOO exciting. A bed to call his own, from the other side of the world! Technology is good, and God is AMAZING. I can't wait to meet him!

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog. Getting your PA is a happy milestone! We are waiting for our LOA. We hope to be in China by the end of the year. You have a beautiful family. Looks like we'll both be getting 3 years olds within a few months' time.

Sounds like good news all the way around =) Just a little more "waiting". None of us are very good at that, sad to say. A three year old! Put your running shoes on girlfriend! I watch Sam once a week and he is 15 months, and I can barely keep up on any given day~but yes, I am WAY older than you too. Prayers from Aunt Jan go up often for your family and little Gavin as well. Soon, soon...he will be here. Love you all, Aunt Jan
