Let Him Eat Cake!

This morning I was buzzing around doing the morning thing and getting everyone going for their day when something HIT me and my whole day changed.
I opened my e-mails and there it was, the most wonderful thing, the most adorable, the sweet face of my son eating the cake we sent him for his birthday.
The girls from Ladybugs-n-Love (the company we sent Gavin's package and birthday cake through) were so great to do a follow up and let me know that Gavin DID in fact get to celabrate his third birthday. Yay!
I still can't share his picture (you have no idea how badly I want to) until we get our LOA from China. So here is just a piece of him sharing his cake!

Today I am lost somewhere on cloud nine and I think I'm going to be up here for a while!---Marla

Marla...how absolutely exciting for you to get this picture! Your last two posts have made me cry. We are so very excited for your family and pray that the waiting will go quickly! We can't wait to see this little guy's face...the top of his head is very cute though! :) I love to read the updates and to follow your journey.

Oh my goodness...next year, he'll be home!! What a super huge blessing to get a picture of him celebrating with YOUR cake! God is so, so good!

Hi there, I'm stopping by from Fireworks and Fireflies to say hello. What a blessing this picture of your son eating cake is ~ for two reasons. The obvious of getting to see a new picture of his sweet face, but more importantly the joy on the nannies faces as they celebrate with him. It looks like he is really loved!
You are logged in just a few weeks ahead of us, who knows, we may meet in China...
I'll be watching your progress!
