So many reasons to be Thankful!

With today being Thanksgiving of course we think of all the ways we are blessed, and this post is no exception.
On Tuesday we got our update we were looking for and received word that our son is very well. Hallelujah!
Gavin is a typical size 3 year old at 37 inches tall. He is healthy and lives in a good size foster family with a grandma, foster parents, foster sibling and another foster child in the home. This we were exciting to hear. We are hopeful he will not be overwhelmed with the number of people in our family.
On this day of giving thanks, I am appreciative for a family who is willing to take this journey through adoption with me. I am forever grateful for Gavin's birthmother and foster parents, who have taken such wonderful care of him both before birth and now as a toddler. And I am thankful to my Heavenly Father and King who is in control of this whole thing. It does not matter how in control I think I am, it is not my hands this adoption is in!
Happy Thanksgiving to you all,
~Marla

Why is it that I cannot read a blog without floods of tears:)? I love your blog and all of your posts. I love your Sunday Snapshot as well. What a great idea! We are waiting on our update from Angela right now. I sent my care package weeks ago. I was glad to read that you finally got your information! I'm excited to follow the rest of your journey!
